OSCE PA president urges reopening of OSCE mission in Azerbaijan
President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Ilkka Kanerva has urged the OSCE to reopen its mission in Azerbaijan.

He made the remarks in his speech at the meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council.

Kanerva said the OSCE should open more missions.

“There is a need for more, not fewer, OSCE field presences, with multi-year budgets and mandates. As an example, I and many of my colleagues urge the reopening of OSCE missions in both Azerbaijan and Georgia,” he added.
