A former US Navy officer, imprisoned in the United States for 30 years on espionage for Israel, has been released from a US prison, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Friday.
Jonathan Pollard was arrested in 1985 and admitted to handing over secret information to Israel, the volume of which was never exposed.
