Azerbaijani chess player beats Armenian opponent
The match of the women`s national teams of Azerbaijan and Armenia was held at European team chess championship.
The seventh round encounter ended with a score of 2:2. On the first board Zeynab Mammadyarov beat Baku native Elina Danielyan who outstrips her significantly in the ranking.

On the second board Lilit Mkrtchyan beat Gulnar Mammadova. On the third board Narmin Kazimova held a draw with Lilit Galoyan while Ulviya Fataliyeva shared one point with Mariya Kursova.

Azerbaijan`s national women`s team has 7 points after the seventh round.

The men`s team of Azerbaijan also drew Latvia owing to Shahriyar Mammadyarov who beat Alexei Shirov on the first board. Teymur Rajabov lost to Igor Kovalenko on the second board and Arkadiy Naidich held a draw game with Arturs Nekans and Rauf Mammadov with Toms Kantans.

Azerbaijan`s national team has 10 points.
