Turkish PM says it is time for Turkey`s national revival
It is time for Turkey`s national and economic revival, the country`s Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said, TRT Haber TV channel reported on May 27.
He stated that there are countries that have gone through military actions, but it didn`t prevent their revival, however, for some reason Turkey is late with this issue.

A view into Turkey`s past shows that every time when the country sought to become a leader, terror and economic problems prevented this, Erdogan said.

The prime minister stressed that despite the anti-Turkish propaganda, currently, there are no economic and political barriers for Turkey to become a world leader.

External forces and political groups in Turkey try to tarnish the country by all means, according to Erdogan.

"There are forces that attempt to trigger an interfaith conflict [Alawite-Sunni confrontation] in Turkey, but it will never happen," the country`s prime minister stressed.
He underscored that Ankara has goals and the country seeks to fulfill them.

Earlier, the head of the country`s oppositional People`s Republican Party, Kemal Kılıchdaroglu said that the policy of the Turkish government, including the policy of Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, doesn`t cover all layers of the society.
Kılıchdaroglu stated that the country`s prime minister draws the country into an internal conflict.

He said the ruling party should understand that it is time to change domestic policy.

The head of the oppositional party also accused Erdogan of creating conditions for interfaith confrontation in the country.
