AZAL explains suspension of low-cost flights to Dubai
The Baku-Dubai low-cost flights made by Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) were suspended. The reason is a low demand in this area at this time of the year, Pasha Kesamanski, the spokesman for AZAL, told on Nov. 23.
He said that depending on the time of the year and the public demand, AZAL regulates the system of making the flights in various directions.

"Currently, there is a fairly low demand for Dubai,” he said. “However, a large passenger flow will be observed during the New Year and a low-cost flight will be restored."

He added that the scheduled Baku-Dubai flights are carried out normally.
