Obama to Meet With Hollande in Paris on November 30
US President Barack Obama will continue discussions on joint fight against the Islamic State with French President Francois Hollande on November 30 in Paris, White House National Security Advisor Ben Rhodes told reporters.
Earlier on Tuesday, Obama and Hollande held a meeting at the White House, where they discussed the joint cooperation on combating ISIL terrorists, as well as a political transition in Syria.

“Later that night [Monday], the President will have a dinner with President Hollande at the Elysee Palace, which is an opportunity for the two of them to review the progress…in the climate discussions,” Rhodes said on Tuesday. “Also to continue the discussions they had today.”

The two presidents agreed to step up airstrikes against the ISIL. However, Hollande pledged he would not send French ground troops into Syria.

France stepped up military operations against ISIL militants in Syria and Iraq after the jihadist group claimed responsibility for a string of gun and bomb attacks in Paris that killed at least 130 people and wounded more than 360.
