Serzh Sargsyan: "Nagorno-Karabakh is not an integral part of Armenia"
“Nagorno-Karabakh is not an integral part of Armenia and the Nagorno-Karabakh problem can not be resolved at the Customs Union”, said President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan at the congress of the ruling party`s youth organization.

Commenting on the opinions that the President of Kazakhstan voiced while reading the Azerbaijani President`s letter at the meeting of the Eurasian Economic Council, Serzh Sargsyan said there are no obstacles before Armenia`s accession to the Customs Union:

“Who said we`ll join the Customs Union together with Nagorno-Karabakh? This hasn`t happened and couldn`t be. Because at least according to our legislation and our views, Nagorno-Karabakh isn`t an integral part of Armenia. As for the effect of our membership of the Customs Union on the resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh problem, this is unequivocal. Of course, Nursultan Nazarbayev`s opinions were unwelcome. But it can`t any way harm us”, he said.

Earlier, the President of Kazakhstan had remarked at the meeting of the Eurasian Economic Council that Armenia will be able to join the Eurasian Union only within the UN-recognized borders.
