Charles, who was ordered to stay away for the building, also stole an electrocardiogram machine, as many as 10 scopes, a baby scale and other miscellaneous historical items from the museum, a court spokesman said.
He pleaded guilty to six charges including burglary and receiving stolen property in a Marion County court.
Charles was sentenced to one year of home detention and two years of probation.
