The attorney also asked for Ismayilova to sit next to her attorneys.
The motions were denied.
Ismayilova was then given the floor. She rejected the accusations on her.
Public prosecutor Abbas Abbasov asked the court to uphold the judgment.
The hearing was paused for pondering, after which the judges announced the denial of her appeal.
Note that, Khadija Ismayilova is sentenced to seven years and a half by the Baku Court on Grave Crimes. Unhappy with the judgment, Ismayilova filed an appeal for her case to be terminated and her to be released.
