The bus, carrying a school swim team, collided with a car trying to pass another vehicle, leaving two people dead, 6ABC TV Channel reported Tuesday.
The channel said nine people in the bus, including eight students and one adult who accompanied the team, were injured.
Circumstances surrounding the crash are now being investigated by local police.
On November 11, another school bus was involved in an accident in New Jersey, leaving four students injured.
