Azerbaijani FM meets Maltese counterpart

Azerbaijani FM meets Maltese counterpart

Azerbaijan Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov on Thursday met with Foreign Minister of Malta George William Vella on the sidelines of the OSCE Ministerial Council in Belgrade, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry told.

The ministers discussed ways to develop bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Malta, underlined the presence of immense opportunities for strengthening the cooperation in the fields of economy, energy and tourism.

The FMs also stressed the importance of the development of the legal framework and intensification of mutual visits for the enhancement of bilateral relations.

Moreover, the sides discussed cooperation between the diplomatic academies of the two countries.
