OSCE adopts declaration on combating terrorism
Participants in the 22nd OSCE Ministerial Council, which was held in the Serbian capital city of Belgrade, were able to reach an agreement on the declaration on combating terrorism and on several other documents, Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic told reporters.
“It`s hard sometimes to reach a consensus, especially in an organization like the OSCE, which has 57 members,” said Dacic. “But we are pleased that despite the polarization, we were able to take a number of important decisions on the fight against terrorism, drug trafficking, combating violent extremism, youth affairs and security,” he added.

Voting on the final documents took place behind closed doors. Due to long discussions, the meeting ended later than the scheduled time.

Germany will assume the OSCE Presidency in January 2016.
