The man complained to the head of the electoral commission, who claimed there had been a “technical problem” and that another citizen “has signed on the wrong line.”
“We’ll have to check with the [Central Electoral Commission] to find out what we can do in such cases, because it’s a technical problem,” commission head Arshak Knyazyan told Epress.am.
The official, however, failed to clarify why there were signatures before the names of the resident’s family members as well: “If there’s been a violation, we’ll draw up protocol,” he said.

A resident of the village of Mughni in Armenia"s Aragatsotn province came Sunday evening to vote in the referendum on the draft constitutional amendments only to discover that votes had already been cast in his, as well as his entire family"s stead at the 14/4 polling station.
