Azerbaijan develops new Code of Administrative Offences

Azerbaijan develops new Code of Administrative Offences

Azerbaijan is set to change the Code of Administrative Offences.

A new draft law on the Code of Administrative Offences put forth by the Azerbaijani president was tabled at the meeting held on Tuesday of the parliamentary Committee on legal policy and state building.

It was announced at the meeting that the new Code of Administrative Offences consists of 40 chapters and 608 articles. The new code summarizes related issues on all the articles.

If approved, the new code will enter into force on January 1.

The draft law has been recommended to the parliament’s plenary session.
