The defense ministry made a statement commenting on the escalating tension on the frontline, recent offensive statements of some Armenian representatives against Azerbaijan and those regarding the fire opened from tank on the contact line as a terrorist attack.
These war criminals are fully responsible for numerous losses the Armenian army suffers from as a result of retaliatory measures by Azerbaijani military, said the statement.
“We are not surprised that these persons, who came to power through terrorism and brought terrorism to the state level, are uttering offensive words against Azerbaijan, because it once again demonstrates their fraudulent nature and lack of education,” noted the ministry.
As for the use of tanks, the Azerbaijani army has stated several times that taking into account the operational situation, it will open fire from heavy weapons and destroy the enemy’s positions and military facilities, said the statement.
