Azerbaijan is set to tighten penalties for the violation of rules on the use of state flag.
According to article #583 of newly-developed Code of Administrative Offences, officials will face fines from AZN 400 up to AZN 600, legal entities from AZN 1,500 up to AZN 2,000 for violation of the rules on use of state flag of Azerbaijan Republic.
Current fines for officials are from AZN 30 up to AZN 40 and from AZN 70 up to AZN 90 for legal entities.
The newly-developed Code of Administrative Offences presented by the Azerbaijani president will be tabled at the upcoming plenary session of the parliament.
