“Recently, Azerigaz has suspended gas supply of Nardaran due to illegal consumption of natural gas. The area “Nardaran Gardens” has been supplied with gas without a break. However, gas supply of the settlement has been suspended due to illegal consumption. Currently, the employees are working to prevent illegal consumption, technically inspecting the houses and installing gas meters. After instalment of these gas meters, individual contracts will be signed between subscribers and Azerigaz. Then, the settlement will be supplied with gas”, Kerbelayev said.
Debts of Nardaran residents for natural gas make AZN 1,376,000, including AZN 387,330 in 2013, AZN 558,624 in 2014 and AZN 450,363 in ten months of 2015.
Azerbaijani President has issued an order on allocation of AZN 12 mln to Nardaran for reconstruction, renewing of socio-cultural infrastructure and solution of the social problems of the settlement.
Moreover, the government gave concrete tasks to Azerishig OJSC, Azersu OJSC and Azerigaz PU for solution of social problems of the settlement.
