On December 12, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, state and government officials visited the grave of Heydar Aliyev in the Alley of Honor.
President Ilham Aliyev laid a wreath on the national leader`s grave. Azerbaijan’s national anthem was performed.
The head of state also laid bunches of flowers on graves of well-known ophthalmologist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva, state figure Aziz Aliyev and professor Tamerlan Aliyev.
