In an interview with local media, Akhramovich said: “The heads of the diplomatic missions of CIS member states unanimously supported the proposal to commemorate Heydar Aliyev. This great man will remain in the memory of our peoples forever. He was an example of selfless service to the people and the state”.
The Ambassador of Belarus quoted Heydar Aliyev as saying: "It is difficult to obtain independence , but it is even harder to retain and strengthen it."
Then the Ambassador laid flowers on the grave of prominent ophthalmologist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva.
