Georgian president holds working meeting in connection with NATO summit
Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili held a working meeting Aug. 25 in connection with the NATO summit to be held in Wales.
Defense Minister Irakli Alasania, National Security Council Secretary Irina Imerlishvili, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs David Zalkaliani and Deputy State Minister on European Integration David Dondua attended the meeting.

President Margvelashvili during the meeting heard the statements of the members of the government dedicated to the preparatory work for the country`s participation in the NATO summit, the Georgian Presidential Administration told Trend Aug. 25.

"The day of the summit is approaching," Alasania told media after the meeting. "Today we have discussed the positions in connection with the "NATO-Georgia" package. We work actively. The president was provided with all details. There will be another meeting before the summit. The country`s ministries will present joint proposals."

NATO summit will be held in Wales on Sept. 4-5. A Georgian delegation at the summit will be headed by President Margvelashvili.
