A meeting between the Azerbaijani and Armenian presidents, scheduled for late December, will contribute to easing tension on the contact line of Azerbaijani and Armenian troops, US ambassador to Azerbaijan Robert Cekuta said on Monday.
The ambassador said the US always urges the sides to take a step forward and reduce the tension on the contact line of troops.
