Azerbaijan considers joining Muslim coalition against terrorism
Azerbaijan is considering joining the Muslim coalition against terrorism, spokesperson of the country’s Foreign Ministry Hikmet Hajiyev told on Dec.15.

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov and Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir have had a phone conversation in this regard, and contacts are underway, said the spokesman.

Hajiyev added that under the laws of Azerbaijan, the country’s involvement in any organization of this kind should be considered in accordance with internal procedures.

“The issue is being considered. As a country suffering from terrorism, Azerbaijan strongly condemns all forms and manifestations of terrorism”, the spokesman stressed.
