`Azerbaijani army will inflict more crushing blows on Armenia`
An opening ceremony of another newly-built military unit has been held in Azerbaijan.

The defense ministry’s leadership reviewed the headquarter, soldiers’ barracks, service, training and rest rooms, briefing room, arms depots, shooting range, canteen, medical center, laundry-bathroom, boiler house and other facilities, the defense ministry said on Dec.15.

Addressing the personnel, Defense Minister, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov said that it is the 10th new military town built in 2015.

Hasanov said President Ilham Aliyev personally oversees the development of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces.

According to the minister, combat readiness of the Azerbaijani Army is increasing, military units are being provided with sophisticated ammunition and weapons, social conditions of the personnel is improving, and they are being provided with service apartments on a permanent basis.

In order to justify the confidence of the state and the people, the Azerbaijani military has to work day and night and improve its combat training, Hasanov added.

“Ahead of us is a key and sacred duty – to liberate our lands from occupation,” the minister said, noting that Azerbaijani armed forces continue to inflict crushing blows on Armenia, taking a heavy death toll on them.

“The entire army of the enemy is currently fighting with a small portion of our army. Unless our lands are liberated from occupation, we will continue to fight to death for every inch of our land,” Hasanov stressed.

The Azerbaijani Army will inflict more crushing blows on Armenia, and then the enemy will realize the might of Azerbaijani Armed Forces better, he said.

“Our aim is to drive them out of our lands. We will continue to carry out this task in a more severe way. The earlier the invaders come to realize they have to get out of our lands, the fewer losses will they suffer. Armenians need to know that,” the minister underlined.
