Azerbaijan, Turkey and Georgia to sign joint declaration on defense cooperation
Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Georgia will sign a joint declaration on defense cooperation, Turkish National Defense Minister Ismet Yilmaz announced on Thursday.
Today’s meetings are of huge importance in terms of developing bilateral and regional ties in areas of military security, Ismet Yilmaz told reporters following the bilateral and trilateral meetings with his Azerbaijani and Georgian counterparts in Istanbul.

“These discussions the three countries are holding are of great importance as regional and global peace is now needed more than ever. This cooperation and dialogue is capable of being an example to all countries. We have noted the importance of signing this declaration on defense cooperation, which we see as a symbol of our bilateral and trilateral cooperation towards a peaceful future,” he said.
