Armenia tries to use Blue Mosque as means of propaganda
Armenia is trying to use Blue Mosque in Yerevan as a means of propaganda, Chairman of Azerbaijan
He made the remarks commenting on the ongoing talks between Armenia and Iran on Blue Mosque.

All ancient mosques in Armenia belong to Azerbaijan, Gurbanli said. “Armenia is a mono-ethnic state.”

He went on to add that the representatives of the Organization of Black Sea Economic Cooperation visited Blue Mosque as part of their visit to Armenia. “The mosque is supervised by an Armenian national who is unrelated to Islam.”

Armenia as a whole is the enemy of Turks and Muslims, Gurbanli noted.

The Armenian government on Dec.10 adopted a decision that Blue Mosque and the adjacent areas are the property of Armenia. The mosque is expected to be listed as historical and cultural monuments of Armenia. But subsequently, a contract will be signed with the Iranian embassy, and regarding the latter’s right to use this mosque for 99 years. The mosque will serve as an Iranian cultural center.
