In Azerbaijan the price of gasoline and diesel is three times cheaper than in Western countries. Azerbaijan provides itself with fuel. The price of Azerbaijani fuel is three times cheaper than world prices. That means, increase in prices in this field is out of the question, Azerbaijani President İlham Aliyev told at the ceremony dedicated the results of 2015 at the National Olympic Committee.
”Public transportation prices are also very cheap in Azerbaijan. We will try to reduce the complications of the inevitable decision. Punishment will be imposed on those behind artificial price hike and profiteer from this decision.The very serious reforms will be conducted in the sector of economy and finance. We will fight against monopoly. The Customs and Tax system will be provided with maximum transparency”, the president added.
