Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree on granting a one-time financial assistance to low-income families.
AZN 50 will be paid to each family, receiving targeted social assistance, on the occasion of the Solidarity Day of the World Azerbaijanis and New Year.
AZN 5.3 million has been allocated from the President`s Reserve Fund to the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population to this end.
The Finance Ministry is due to ensure the proper financing while the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population has been instructed to transfer the one-time financial assistance to the accounts of the family, receiving targeted social assistance.
