Social and infrastructure projects including the state program on the development of Baku and surrounding towns are being implemented successfully, said Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
He made the remarks Dec.30 in a meeting with a group of Khazar district residents during the opening of the Zire Cultural Center and an eco-park.
In 2015, social stability was ensured in Azerbaijan, and the country’s economic development will remain a priority for the years ahead, said President Aliyev.
Reforms in the sphere of management will continue in a new format next year, the president said, noting that transparency will be ensured in the activities of executive bodies and in the area of taxes and customs.
“To me, the interests of the Azerbaijani people are higher than anything,” he said.
