Two Iranian gas field phases ready for inauguration
Phases 15 and 16 of South Pars gas field are ready for inauguration and await an inaugural time to be announced by President Hassan Rouhani, CEO of the National Iranian Oil Company Roknoddin Javadi said.
He pointed out that with the inauguration, the two phases will work at their full capacity, while they have been tapped partially since two years ago, Tasnim news agency reported January 1.

He also said no American company has offered service to Iran after the nuclear deal which was followed by heavy traffic of foreign companies coming to Iran to find a place in the post-sanctions market,.

Phases 15 and 16 of South Pars will earn Iran $20 million a day.

Since two years ago, the phases have given out over 15.5 billion cubic meters of gas, 14 million barrels of gas condensates, three thousand metric tons of sulfur, and over five thousand metric tons of ethane.

Granting gas at 25 cents per cubic meter and gas condensates at $40 per barrel, it can be said the two phases have so far made over $4.5 billion.
