“Iran and the US will have the most influential roles in the JCPOA implementation. That is why in recent days a lot of phone calls and emails have been exchanged between me and [US Secretary of State John] Kerry, as well as [Atomic Energy Organization of Iran Chief Ali Akbar] Salehi and [US Energy Secretary Earnest] Moniz,” Fars news agency quoted Zarif as saying Jan. 6.
“Our colleagues and the P5+1 will hold some meetings in Europe in the coming days to coordinate things,” added Zarif. “Hence, we talked in details with [EU foreign policy chief Federica] Mogherini.”
