Turkey not to introduce visa regime with Azerbaijan

Turkey will not introduce a visa regime with Azerbaijan, said Turkish Foreign Ministry spokesperson Tanju Bilgic.

He made this statement in response to the question of APA correspondent at a press conference Jan.8.

“Such an issue is out of question,” Bilgic said, adding that one month stay in Turkey for Azerbaijani citizens will not be limited.

No changes are anticipated in this regard, he added.

Turkish media reported that from June 2016, Turkey will start a visa regime with 89 non-EU countries, including Azerbaijan within the framework of the visa facilitation and readmission agreements signed with the EU.
