Azerbaijan tightens control on animal origin products
Azerbaijan has tightened control on products of animal origin, Azer Suleymanov, the head of the State Veterinary Service under the Ministry of Agriculture and the chief state veterinary inspector said.
Raids are ongoing to ensure the healthy nutrition of people. The raids are targeting veterinary pharmacies and drug storages, he said.

“All of the offences detected in this area will be prevented. Under the instructions of the agricultural minister, the State Veterinary Service will continue to conduct the raids on a regular basis,” Suleymanov said.

He also added that illegal slaughtering of animals will be prevented as well.
