Germany is concerned over the escalation of tensions along the contact line of Azerbaijani and Armenian troops, Mathias Kisler Germany`s ambassador to Armenia told at a press conference held in Yerevan, AzVision.az reports.
`The resolution of the regional and frozen conflicts will be one of the main priorities of Germany during its chairmanship period at OSCE. We believe, the OSCE Minsk Group is the only internationally authorized format of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement`, the ambassador said.
`Germany supports the OSCE`s efforts to implement the mechanisms in terms of investigation of the ceasefire violation cases. We need political will. Therefore, the sides should avoid from provocations in order to eliminate disbelief between them`, the ambassador stressed.
