SOCAR increases gas supply to Georgia 50 mcm
In order to optimize the natural gas supply to Georgia, SOCAR has held negotiations with the participants of Shahdeniz and the South Caucasus Pipeline consortiums based on the appeal of Georgian side and reached an agreement on revising limitations on seasons provided in the contracts on gas supply to Georgia from Shahdeniz field.
According to the agreement, SOCAR will increase gas supply to Georgia at least 50 mcm in winter.

“Supporting appeal of Georgian side once again proves the existence of neighbourhood relations between Azerbaijan and Georgia and leads to development of cooperation in the future too”, SOCAR said.
