Financial aid allocated to families of oilers killed in Guneshli accident
AZN 15,000 has been allocated to the families of each killed and missing workers according to the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers, SOCAR allocated AZN 5,000, Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation
SOCAR released information about the amount of financial aid allocated to families of oil workers killed and missing and in Guneshli and Oil Rocks and rescued workers.

The aids provided related to 11 persons dead as a result of accident are as follows:

- Funeral ceremony is organized with the participation of representatives of SOCAR relevant departments, expenses for funeral and tombstones are paid by SOCAR;

- Each family received a financial aid of AZN 2,100 AZN “

- Each family received a benefit in threefold of average salary;

- Each of family members who protects underage children will receive AZN 262.5 till 18 year old (23 year-old if they study full-time).

3. Regarding rescued workers, SOCAR allocated AZN 3,000 to each who has received or is receiving treatment in Burn Centre of Surgery Clinic named after Aziz Aliyev, AZN 1,000 to each of 32 persons, Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation – AZN 500, Republican Committee for Trade Unions of Employees of the Oil and Gas Industry of Azerbaijan – AZN 500.

At the same time, SOCAR is doing payment of three persons (Iman Shura Gasimov – AZN 31,756.07, Bahman Nadir Jafarov – AZN 15,523.70 and Abdulaziz Ismail Abdulazizov – AZN 70,234.50; total: AZN 117,514.30) who stand on a queue for a house and have been provided with a house by Neftchi housing cooperative.

Moreover, SOCAR will provide one of the family members with a job in its enterprises and institutions without a competition for vacancies in accordance with his/her profession, education or experience and if needed, train in the Training Centres.
