Artist creates bizarre characters by getting models to bend over, drawing faces on them - PHOTOS
A creative photographer has created a uniquely creepy way of capturing the human body - photographing her models bent over with caricature faces drawn on their backs.
Artist AnaHell has her models bend over and draws faces on their exposed skin, while the rest of their figure is disguised with clothing and wigs.

The resulting image reveals an eerie illusion that is equal parts human and Pan`s Labyrinth-style horror creature.

Photographer AnaHell admits her creations, called Secret Friends, divide opinion with people finding them either unsettling or endearing

In one of her strangest photographs, AnaHell asked a model to bend over while clutching a doll in bed - while a sleeping face was drawn on their back

Titled `Secret Friends`, the mischievous series features the models dressed up and placed in every day surroundings.

AnaHell, 31, who resides in Spain, said: `I mainly working with the mediums of illustration and photography. Most of my projects explore the concept of identity, anonymity, sexuality and absurdity with a good dose of humour.

`Secret Friends is my most recent photography project which was actually born during another creative session.

`This project delves into childish insanity and transforms bodies into new creatures, friends. In Secret Friends ordinary places and situations transform into a fantasy world when the characters metamorphose.`
However, the artist has admitted her work would not be to everyone`s taste.

She added: `Although the models remain anonymous, another creature is born, a bizarre secret playmate. Secret Friends are strange, outlandish creatures that some may find unsettling and others may find endearing.`
