Baku Slavic University closes 7 chairs, 5 departments and 2 labs
Seven chairs, five departments and two scientific-research laboratories have been closed at the Baku Slavic University, and their functions have been transferred to other structures of the university, the university
According to the strategic development plan of the Baku Slavic University, reforms are underway for the optimization of existing structures and the effective use of human resources.

On the basis of the liquidated departments, “Philology and journalism" and "International Relations and translation" faculties were created. All these will give impetus to deepening of inter-subjects and -specialties relations and more intense adjustment of education to the Bologna process.

At present, the University-based reform-attestation commission is continuing its activity to gradually optimize other structures.
