BBC TV channel screens Ali and Nino film
Asif Kapadia told the BBC that the story is developing in the Caucasus. "Now the region is so important in the light of current events. The East meets the West, Europe meets Asia, Islam meets Christianity. This is a great place. I could not even imagine this part of the world. It was a crazy journey into an unknown world," Kapadia stressed.
Another of his films, `Amy`, has been nominated for an Oscar in the Best Documentary Feature category, Trend reminds.
