Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has sent a condolence message to his Egyptian counterpart Abdel Fatah Al-Sissi, after the death of political figure Boutros Boutros Ghali.
The letter reads:
“Dear Mr President, I’m stricken by the loss of the United Nations` sixth secretary-general, renowned political figure Boutros Boutros Ghali. On this sad occasion, on my own behalf and on behalf of the Azerbaijani people I can only express my heartfelt condolences to Your Excellency and through you to the entire Egyptian people and to the deceased`s family”.
