Ukraine detains group sending Azerbaijani citizens for organ transplant
The Ukrainian Security Service (SBU) has arrested two citizens involved in the activities of an international criminal group engaged in human organ trafficking

SBU informs, the suspects have been working mostly with low-income donors from rural areas, sending them to Asia and Latin American countries for organ transplant, AzVision.az reports citing ITAR-TASS.

“From 2010 to 2014, they have sent up to 500 Ukrainian, Azerbaijani, Armenian, Lithuanian and Russian citizens abroad,” the SBU said.

They will be sentenced to up to 12 years in prison if proven guilty.
