Iraq province Police Chief dies in Bomb Blast
The chief of administrative police in the eastern Iraqi province of Diyala has been killed in a bomb blast, Iraqi media reported Monday, citing law enforcement sources.
Khaled Karkhi was said to have been killed on Sunday after a bomb planted under his vehicle set off in Baqubah city’s southern administrative center, according to Alsumaria broadcaster.

"Diyala police announced three days of mourning for the death in all departments of the province," provincial police chief Jasem As-Saadi told the broadcaster, blaming the attack on a "terrorist plot."

No terrorist organization has claimed responsibility for the attack yet.
