Official ambassador of European Grand Prix to visit Baku

Official ambassador of European Grand Prix to visit Baku

Official ambassador of Formula 1 Grand Prix of Europe, Fernando Alonso, will visit Baku March 8, Baku City Circuit Operations Company told March 2.

The 2016 Formula 1 Grand Prix of Europe will be held on June 17-19 in Baku.

During the two-day visit, Alonso will review the preparatory work on the streets through which the Baku City Circuit route will run.

Moreover, he will meet with local and international media representatives, fans and volunteers of the European Grand Prix.

Alonso is the two-time Formula 1 World Champion and current McLaren Honda driver.
