“These events will be celebrations for all sports fans in Azerbaijan,” added the minister.
Rahimov also said the Day of Physical Culture and Sports, celebrated today, on March 5, was established by Azerbaijan’s great leader Heydar Aliyev in 1995.
He further congratulated everyone on the occasion of this day.
“This holiday is celebrated by all the athletes in Azerbaijan. Various events are being held at the National Park and at sports venues on this occasion,” added Rahimov.
