Under the order of Azerbaijani Interior Minister, Colonel General Ramil Usubov, law-enforcement bodies will tighten security measures for Novruz celebrations, Ehsan Zaidov, deputy head of the Interior Ministry`s press service, told on Tuesday.
According to the order, personnel of police agencies and regular police units will work in enhanced mode during upcoming Novruz events – from March 19 to 28 – to be held throughout the country in order to insure the protection of public order, rules of law, and a better organized execution of service duties.
