Execution of pardon decree continues in Azerbaijan - PHOTOS

Execution of pardon decree continues in Azerbaijan - PHOTOS

The execution of the pardon decree, signed by the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on March 17, continues.

AzVision.az reports that the decree was executed in jail #4 and juvenile correctional facility.

Azerbaijani citizen Shabnam Bayramova and citizen of Uzbekistan Khojayeva Mastura Khojayeva were released from jail #4.

Resident of Balaken district, Rahman Kulayev was released from the juvenile correctional facility.

Nizamaddin Jalilov, deputy chief of the Justice Ministry`s Penitentiary Service said the pardon decree was applied to 148 prisoners. 137 people were freed from unserved part of their imprisonment and the rest from correctional work and the pecuniary penalty.
