Azerbaijani parliament discussed amendments to the article #213-1.3 of the Criminal Code at the plenary meeting today.
According to amendments, along with the tobacco, the wholesale price of the beer will be paid only through bank or through payment cards.
Under the amendments, the sale of excise goods for cash (except for retail sale of beer and tobacco) in a large quantities, and the purchase of such goods in a large quantities with an aim to subsequently sell them will be is punished by the penalty at AZN 1,000 or in the form of correctional labour for up to one year, or imprisonment for one year.
