A.Azimov discusses the situation in Karabakh with the ambassadors of OSCE
April 4, 2016 Deputy Foreign Minister Araz Azimov received ambassadors of OSCE member-states accredited in the Republic of Azerbaijan, and discussed the tense situation around the occupied Azerbaijani territories along the contact line of Azerbaijani and Armenian troops since April 2, 2016, AzVision.az reports, quoting the press service of the Foreign Ministry.
Azerbaijani side, emphasizing the importance of the ceasefire for the peaceful settlement of the conflict, noted that the Armenian side regularly violated the ceasefire, trying to divert attention away from the substantive issues of the peace process and prolong the status quo. Deputy Minister drew attention to the fact that, as a rule, this kind of provocation on the part of Armenia taking place in the period of positive dynamics in the negotiation process.

The Deputy Minister noted the importance of an immediate resumption of the ceasefire and effective negotiation process. The official representative of Azerbaijan reminded a unilateral declaration of ceasefire by Azerbaijan in this context. He stressed the possibility of resolving the conflict only within the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan.
