Azerbaijan to hold municipal elections

Azerbaijan to hold municipal elections

Municipal elections will be held in Azerbaijan on 23 December, Mehdi Salimzadeh, the head of the Center for the Work with Municipalities of the Ministry of Justice of Azerbaijan, said at the meeting of Milli Majlis Regional Affairs Committee 25 November,2014.

He said, 3 candidates will compete for a place in a municipality.

He also added, measures are being implemented toward municipal elections.

“Central Elections Committee carries out works on enlightenment of people regarding with elections. Also, logistics supplies of the highest standards are provided. Our country is fully ready for upcoming municipal elections.”
