He made remarks during a press conference held following the trilateral meeting of the Azerbaijani, Iranian, and Russian foreign ministers in Baku.
“The meetings I had in Baku yesterday and tomorrow’s meetings in Yerevan are indicative of our efforts,” said Lavrov.
The FM noted that Russia is more interested in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement than western countries.
“The region’s transit structure is in disorder. There are losses. Snipers on both sides face each other every day. Necessary measures have to be taken so that such incidents do not take place. Efforts for a political solution are needed,” Lavrov added.
