Russia, France agree to unite efforts in Karabakh conflict settlement
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and his French counterpart Jean-Marc Ayrault discussed in a phone call on Thursday the recent escalation of tensions in Nagorno-Karabakh and agreed to coordinate efforts aimed at political resolution of the conflict, the Russian Foreign Ministry said.

"The ministers discussed the latest developments in the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh and agreed to unite efforts by Russia and France, as co-chairs of the Minsk Group, aimed at normalizing the situation around the conflict as soon as possible," the ministry said in a statement.
